SHP would like to congratulate the 2017 SHP Best-of-the-Best winners, who have been recognized for achieving the highest overall HHCAHPS patient satisfaction or CAHPS Hospice caregiver satisfaction scores of all eligible SHP clients during the 2017 calendar year. This year’s winners are:
HHCAHPS Best-of-the-Best: Excellent Care Home Health Services, Inc (Rancho Cucamonga, CA)
CAHPS Hospice Best-of-the-Best: Visiting Nurse Home Care & Hospice of Carroll County and Western Maine (North Conway, NH)
This year marks the 2nd annual SHPBest ™ recognition program, which was created to acknowledge home health and hospice providers that consistently provide high quality service. With well over 6,500 combined HHCAHPS and CAHPS Hospice locations on service, SHP is in a unique position to identify and recognize organizations that have made patient and caregiver satisfaction a priority and have been rewarded for their efforts with high marks on their satisfaction surveys.
The 2017 SHPBest award recipients were determined by reviewing and ranking the overall satisfaction score for more than 2,400 home health providers and over 950 hospice providers. The providers with the best overall scores for both HHCAHPS and CAHPS Hospice receive the Best-of-the-Best Award. In addition to the Best-of-the-Best award, SHP has awarded the Premier Performer award to providers ranked in the top 5%, and the Superior Performer award to providers ranked in the top 20%. In addition to the overall satisfaction score requirements mentioned above, all award recipients must have scored better than or equal to the SHP national average throughout the period for each of the publicly reported quality measure domains.
