Now the handouts, Follow-up Q&A document, and recorded version of this February 19th, 2014, Webinar where financial, clinical, operational and HHCAHPS data were combined to identify top-performing agencies and their characteristics are available for download.
The webinar, entitled “SHP/BKD Top Performers Leaderboard – Where Do You Rank?” explored the benchmarks and how top agencies are performing in regard to profit margins, Medicare payments, episode costs, direct costs per visit and other key indicators.
After a challenging year in 2013, homecare agencies are expected to have an even more interesting time in 2014. Costs may continue to increase, even as reimbursement rates decline. Efficiency and productivity are being cut because of downsizing.
