SHP began administering the CAHPS Hospice survey four months before the dry run period started on January 1, 2015. A quarter later, we’ve amassed sufficient data to provide a preliminary look at the questions with the lowest and highest scores. Even though this pre-dry run data does not fully conform to CMS sampling methodology, these raw scores offer an unprecedented first glimpse at where hospices are struggling and succeeding.
